Bassel Y. Ojjeh, President and CEO

With a career dedicated to harnessing the power of data for improved business performance and increased revenue and an impressive track record of successful start-ups, nPario co-founder, President and CEO, Bassel Ojjeh is responsible for driving the vision and strategy of the company.

Ojjeh brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial acumen and comprehensive knowledge of enterprise data strategies. Prior to nPario, he served as Senior Vice President of the Strategic Data Solutions division at Yahoo, where he was responsible for building data products that leveraged Yahoo data to drive audience engagement and advertising revenues.

 

Ojjeh joined the company as a result of Yahoo’s acquisition of his previous venture, the DMX Group, a business intelligence and data mining company. Prior to Yahoo, Ojjeh co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of digiMine (now Audience Science), delivering business intelligence and data mining products and services to Fortune 100 companies such as American Express, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford Motors, Microsoft Corp, Dow Jones, AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile. Ojjeh’s product and business leadership at digiMine was instrumental in securing over $25 million of venture funding for the company.

 

Before founding digiMine, Ojjeh was Group Program Manager in the Internet Business Server division at Microsoft, where he drove key initiatives in areas such as data warehousing, data mining, personalization and predictive capabilities. He started his career in Fox Software, establishing the company as a leading global software development provider, which was later acquired by Microsoft for $1.5 Billion.

 

In recognition of his business leadership, Bassel Ojjeh received The Graduate of the Year award from his Alma Mater, Bowling Green StateUniversity.

Krishna Uppala, Chief Technology Officer

Co-founder Krishna Uppala serves as nPario’s Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for driving the ongoing innovation and development that powers nPario’s unique data products and services. A recognized expert in data warehousing and database analytics, Uppala is the innovator behind 16 data processing and database technologies patents.

 

Before joining nPario, he served as Senior Director/Architect at Yahoo, where he was responsible for developing and deploying technologies that powered the world’s largest data warehouse and analytics applications. Prior to Yahoo, Uppala was a VP of Engineering at digiMine (now Audience Science) and developed the company’s leading predictive analytics, segmentation and data mining applications. He joined digiMine from Microsoft, where he focused on implementing data applications and enhancing scalability for the company’s leading portal and commerce platforms, MSN and the MicrosoftCommerce Server.

 

Uppala holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Trenton State College, NJ. He has presented his findings at leading scientific forums such as the Association of Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Management of Data (SIGMOD).

Basel Tutunji, Chief Revenue Officer

As a co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, Basel Tutunji is responsible for sales and business development, delivering nPario’s comprehensive set of products and services to companies who want to increase their data-generated revenue. A recognized business intelligence expert, Tutunji brings more than 18 years of experience in the areas of business and data strategy, e-commerce anddecision support systems.

 

Before establishing nPario, Tutunji held sales management roles in several multinational corporations, including SAS, Intershop Communications and Oracle, driving double-digit sales growth in the regions he managed. Tutunji also contributes his extensive IT expertise to SmartCity, a global initiative to connect vibrant, knowledge-based communities and companies across the world.

 

Tutunji graduated from Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
